Casa da Eira is located 5 km from the town of Lousă, near the River Beach
of Bogueira; a densely wooded area of great natural beauty, ideal for swimming, hiking, fishing and canoeing.
The house has several terraces overlooking the Lousă Mountain, where you can enjoy the silence and the space that extends across the landscape, or marvel at the vast starry sky that comes out at night.
Completely restored and equipped, this century-old house, is part of the typical
rural architecture of other times, with a characteristic entry walkway and a
central threshing-floor where people use to work the products of the land when
the agriculture and farm animals were part of the everyday life.
Lousă town, just minutes away, offers all the services needed in our modern lives, as well as a vast variety of historical attractions and places of amusement. The mountain food is a rich heritage that you shouldn’t miss, available in
several traditional restaurants.
Located at the foot of the mountains, the town has many stately houses of great architectural beauty, dating to the eighteenth century decorating many of its streets.
The Lousă Mountain is the biggest local attraction, whether for the spectacular landscape, the lush vegetation, the cool waters, the wildlife, or the abandoned mountain villages where time seems to have stopped,
it is indeed a fantastic territory of discovery that you can not fail to explore.
